KELSEY COOK
Founder, KC & Co.

Kelsey Cook is the founder of KC & Co., a health strategy and advisory firm focused on improving health outcomes at the individual, local, and statewide levels.

KC & Co. was created to advance preventative health through a systems-based approach, grounded in the belief that health is shaped by the environments we live in, the systems we participate in, and the habits we build every day.

Kelsey founded KC & Co. after gaining a deeper understanding of Indiana’s public health challenges, navigating her own health through research and experimentation, and witnessing the impact of health struggles on those close to her. She brings a background in strategic planning, public affairs, marketing, and coalition building to connect ideas, people, and systems to move health forward across the state.

Her work bridges health, leadership, and civic life. In Central Indiana, she has engaged with hundreds of community members through fitness instruction and civic programming. She currently teaches group fitness at Skulpt in downtown Indianapolis and Ozwell in Carmel. She is a member of Smart Indy and the Indiana Dementia Strategic Plan’s Public Awareness Task Group, and volunteers with the Alzheimer’s Association, Gleaners Food Bank, and local and statewide political and advocacy efforts.

She has spent the past decade building deep roots in Indianapolis through teaching fitness, coaching individuals in nutrition, hosting public, donation-based classes, and contributing to health-focused initiatives. She also participated in the 2025 Indy Chamber Leadership Exchange trip to Washington, D.C., studying how health intersects with economic development and civic infrastructure.

Most recently, Kelsey served as Fellowship and Marketing Director at the Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation, where she led statewide engagement efforts, reimagined the Fellowship experience and curriculum, executed more than 50 events, and supported over 100 Fellows in developing initiatives across Indiana. Previously, she worked at Hathaway Strategies, a public affairs firm in Indianapolis, where she managed the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series and supported healthcare-focused advocacy efforts. During her undergrad at IU Indianapolis, she interned for the Indiana House of Representatives, the National Association of City and County Health Officials, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Outside of her work, Kelsey can often be found walking through downtown Indianapolis, visiting the Central Library and local coffee shops, and staying closely connected to the community she is working to serve.
