The Best At Home "Acai" Bowl

You'll never need to buy a $15 acai bowl again... well maybe occasionally.

I made this bowl on repeat during the lockdown of 2020 because I rarely went to the grocery store, all the best places were closed and I prioritized eating and living as healthily as I could. So maybe we could call this the 19-Bowl.

This is a bowl full of antioxidants, fiber, protein, and nutrnutrient-denseredients. It's the best quick breakfast, lunch or dinner and can fix the sweet tooth some of us have to deal with daily.

The 19-Bowl

Base Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries)

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (here are two great options - Truvia / Orgain)

  • heavy dash of cinnamon

  • 1 scoop greens powder (here are two great options - AG1 / Amazing Greens) or a handful of spinach

  • 1/2 cup water (or milk of choice)

  • Optional Additions:

    • spirulina powder, hemp protein, ground flax seeds, chia seeds, banana, mango, etc.

Topping Ingredients

  • Fresh fruit options: berries, mango, nectarines, banana

  • 1 tbsp nut butter of choice

  • 1/2 cup granola of choice

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • Optional Additions:

    • coconut flakes, goji berries, nuts, flax seeds, etc.


  1. Add all base ingredients to the blender starting with the berries, supplements, greens, and finish with water.

  2. Blend until everything looks mixed (approximately 1 min.)

  3. Pour into a bowl

  4. Add toppings

  5. ENJOY!
